Our next Club Newsletter for NOVEMBER comes out Monday, September 14th.
REMEMBER, some trips are cancelled when people wait until the last minute to register. Sign up
for trips start at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Conference room on the date of the Travel Club meeting;
otherwise you can sign up in the Senior Center office Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Register early so you won’t be disappointed!

“ANNIE GET YOUR GUN” AT THE NIAGARA REGIONAL THEATRE
GUILD & DINNER AT BANCHETTI’S– Your Fisher school bus will depart the Senior Center at
4:45 p.m. Your family-style dinner includes: fruit cup, chef salad, relish tray, rolls & butter, seasonal
vegetable, butternut squash tortellini, herb potato bake, chicken picatta, beef tenderloin w/spinach &
mushroom, coffee or tea & brownie sundae for dessert. Next enjoy the classical musical about the life of
sharpshooter Annie Oakley from song writer Irving Berlin. Annie & Frank Butler meet when she beats
him in a sharp shooting contest at Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show. The two have to negotiate between
their competitive sides & blossoming love for each other. Return to the Center at 10:30 p.m. Your trip

“NEWSIES” AT SHEAS & DINNER AT MARCO’S– Your Fisher school bus
will depart the Senior Center at 4:30 p.m. for dinner. Your family-style meal includes: pizza,
antipasto, Italian bread, penne w/sauce, meatballs w/sauce, breaded chicken cutlets w/lemon slices, pop,
coffee or tea & cannoli for dessert. Next stop is to your show. This Broadway smash hit, crowd pleasing,
new musical from Disney, 2012 TONY Award winner for Best Score & Best Choreography, “Newsies”
has audiences & critics alike calling it “A Musical worth Singing About!” Filled with one heart pounding

LATSHAW PRESENTS: “DANCING IN THE STREET” AT GRAPEVINE
BANQUETS (formerly Hearthstone Manor) - You will be transported thru the Fabulous 50’s, 60’s and
the Disco 70’s with the Latshaw Pops Orchestra, Singers and the Katie Kelly Dancers for Doo Wop,
Disco, Motown & more. Drive on your own for this event! Doors open at 11:15 a.m., lunch served at
11:30 a.m. and show at 1:00 p.m. Your meal includes: salad, chicken picatta, cheddar mashed potatoes,

TRAVEL CLUB SPECIAL BINGO–This month the prizes will be Avon Products
12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. Enjoy a nutritious lunch (menu to be announced). Coffee is available for 50¢
per cup. After lunch we will play all round-robin bingo games; receive 2 boards (additional boards
available for sale). Deadline: Tuesday, October 13th. Your ticket is your lunch reservation; please
do not call to make your own. Refunds will be given for cancellations before Monday, October 5th
(2 weeks before the bingo date). Tickets must be presented the day of the event. Seating is limited so

“THE COASTERS” AT SENECA NIAGARA CASINO – Your Know How
Tours motorcoach will depart the Senior Center at 10:30 a.m. Incentives are: $20.00 slot dollars & free
lunch buffet voucher (incentives are subject to change). Enjoy your show in the Bear’s Den (general
seating; first come first serve.). “The Coasters” are a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group that has been
performing their chart topping hits for over 50 years with their unique style, approach & humor. Their
legendary career has produced an unbroken string of hits in the 50’s & 60’s. Their hits span from
“Charlie Brown”, “Yakety Yack”, “Love Potion # 9”, “Zing went the string of My Heart”, “Smokey Jones

note: you are not permitted to wear masks, hats w/rims, pajamas or have your face altered w/makeup;
also, fake guns or knives are not allowed as per NYS Lottery. Batavia Downs offers video gaming on over
700 machines & live televised horse racing. Incentives: free lunch buffet & $15.00 slot dollars (incentive

NOTE: Club members always have first preference when signing up for trips. Non-members wishing to travel
with us must wait until the trip has been advertised to our members for 30 days!
CANCELLATION POLICY: There will be a trip cancellation fee imposed on all cancelled trips as follows: $1
for day trips, $5 for over-night trips. This will be strictly enforced.
NOTE: Anyone with any special requests for any trips (like specific bus seat arrangements, dietary restriction,
hotel accommodations or traveling with friends), kindly make your wishes known at the time of sign-up! We will
do our very best to accommodate your requests.
REMINDER: All trip participants are reminded to park their vehicles in the rear parking lot in the last lane
away from the Senior Center. This is where the bus will drop you off!
NOTE: If you know of a member that is ill or in a hospital, kindly notify the Club’s Social Secretary so that a
get well card can be sent. Thank you!
REMEMBER: To cancel your senior lunch reservation (by calling the kitchen at 686-7417) if you sign-up for a
trip on that same date.
CASINO TRIP POLICY* Each Cheektowaga Senior Club Member will be able to purchase a total of TWO
tickets for each casino trip offered and they must be for MEMBERS ONLY for the first 30 days the trip is
advertised. You will need to have membership numbers, Date of Birth, all the contact information and the
payment for who you are buying tickets at the time of sign up. Also, please bring proper I.D. in order to receive
incentive. Effective January 1st, 2015 NO Refunds are given on Casino trips unless cancelled at least 21 days
before the trip date or a replacement is found. Please notify the Senior Center office if you have your own
replacement. NOTE: In order to enter Canada it is imperative that all passengers have proof of U. S. Citizenship Passport, Passport Card or Enhanced Driver’s License.
