SATs
In the lead up to SATs, may we take this opportunity to ask that you support your child with
reading regularly at home and by putting an emphasis on questioning your children about the
text they are reading. Reading and discussing texts with your child is fundamentally important
to improving both their reading and writing skills. To progress children need to read regularly at
home and bring in reading diaries signed and dated twice every week.
Your child should now be finishing working through their maths revision booklets. We ask that
you talk to your child about their work in these books and support them as necessary.
A letter providing details of the SATs breakfast club for Year 6 pupils was sent out last week.
