A local band will provide a private, exclusive gig of live Welsh music in front of a roaring camp fire, while you all get to know each other and enjoy a freshly prepared meal of the best local produce by your chef. (D) Tuesday What’s included in this amazing package! Today you will be met by your luxury transportation and knowledgeable Blue Badge guide who will take you to explore this bountiful area. Begin your day on a quest for gold at the nearby Dolaucothi Gold Mines and put yourself in the place of the Roman gold miners who travelled to Wales two thousand years ago, to hunt down this precious metal. You will also learn about the legends of the Pumsaint Stone, which stands near the entrance to the mines, and is associated with five Celtic saints. This afternoon you will be searching out something a lot more edible as you satisfy your appetite with tours and tastings of some of the awardwinning local food and drink producers in the area! Continuing the delicious theme, dinner this evening will be served at a local microbrewery! (B, L, D) »» Wednesday »» Enjoy a full day again today with your guide as you are transported back in time to a place of heroics and magic. Learn about Wales’ great leaders as you visit the majestic Dinefwr Castle and take in its impressive defensive position which also offers fabulous views! This afternoon travel into one of Wales’ National parks to explore into the Brecon Beacons, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one of the few places in the UK to be named a UNESCO International Dark Sky reserve. It is the perfect place to take a walk and discover some of the wonderful waterfalls it is known for. Pursue the elusive Lady of the Lake at Llyn y Fan Fach, and discover the legends of Camelot which abound in this area. Who knows who you will meet along the way? Dinner will be served this evening with a side order of something special! (B, L, D) Thursday Today you will have a free day to enjoy your stunning accommodation and its lush surrounding area.
