License Registration Process
Every FlexiPos Basic comes with a 15 days full demo version. There is no restriction on any masters
or transactions. After the 15 days demo period it is mandatory that you buy a copy of the software, if
you have not already done so. Once you purchase a copy of the license, a License Key is issued,
which needs to be registered online.
Note: It is mandatory to have a internet to connect and register the license and also you need to
disable any kind of firewall that may be in use during this process.
The registration can be done from the login screen. Once you start the application the login screen is
displayed as follows. At this screen, Instead of Keying in the [UserId] and [Password], click on the
[Register License] button and follow the instruction.
The application will check for the Internet and connect to the License Registration Server, once the
connectivity is established, the following screen will be displayed (as shown in the next screen).
Here, you need to keyin the required details related to the License issued to you.
ONLINE REGISTERATION
This is the form where in you need to enter the license details and register your license copy of
software.
Customer Id : Please key in the Customer id that is there in the License hard copy given to
you and press the <Enter> key. On validation all you License serial numbers
are displayed in the right side box. In case of any discrepancy please contact
you respective dealer
Location ID
: This is the id you have created during installation and the same is
automatically displayed, can not be changed.
Name
: Key in the Name of the store. This is the name that will be printed on the bill
and all the reports.
Area
: Key in the Area where your store is located.
City
: Key in the name of the City where the store is located.
State
: Key in the name of the State where the store is located and press the
<Register> button to register you license
Note: The address printed in the bill will be as mentioned in the System Setup module.
In case of any problem you can do a manual entry of you license as explained below
Now click on the <Add Row> button on the right side of the screen to key in the license number. The
following screen will be displayed.
Module Name
:
Select the Module Name from the drop down list and press the
<Enter> key. The cursor will move to [Serial Number] field
Serial Number
:
Key in the License Serial number provided to you along with the
License copy, and press the <Enter> key, the cursor will move to
[POS No.] field. and press the <Enter> key.
POS No
:
Key in the POS number of the respective License Serial Number.
In case you have more than one POS, then continue the above process until you have registered all
the POS Licenses and then click on Register button. Once the registration is successful the below
screen will be displayed
