Aims To review the vocabulary and grammar from Unit 1
Time 15 minutes
Materials 1 handout for each group of three students
• Divide the class into groups of three and tell them to think of
a team name. Give each group a copy of the quiz, face down,
and tell them not to look at it until you say, ‘Go!’
• Explain they are going to answer quiz questions about Unit 1.
Tell them to write their answers clearly. Set a time-limit to suit
your class. Tell students to turn their sheet over, write their
team name and complete the quiz.
• When time is up, say, ‘Stop!’ and tell students to swap their
paper with another group. Check answers as a class.
