Here’s an EXCERPT from Huffington Post, 5­17­13:
“The war authorization that Congress passed after 9/11 will be needed for at least 10 to 20
more years, and can be used to put the United States military on the ground anywhere,
from Syria to the Congo to Boston, military officials argued Thursday (5-16-13).
"Yes sir, from Boston to FATA [Pakistan's federally administered tribal areas]," answered
Michael Sheehan, the assistant secretary of defense who oversees special operations.
Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) later raised the specter of the AUMF being used to intervene in
Syria, where the group Al Nusra, believed to be affiliated with Al Qaeda, is active. Al Nusra
has not been linked to 9/11.
Sheehan said yes, if defense officials determined the group was becoming a threat. The
same criteria applied to other groups, even if they were locally focused and operating in
other nations. Taylor confirmed that AUMF also would cover individuals, even those who
had not been born by 9/11, if, as Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) asked, they someday were to
"become associated with a group that associates with Al Qaeda."
When asked about an expiration date for the war authorization, Sheehan said it would be
when al Qaeda had been consigned to the "ash heap of history." "I think it's at least 10 to 20
years."

Wither U.S. Constitution: Rise of a New “Evil
Empire”
Today’s Huffington Post May 17 story proves that the “War on Terror,” a phrase that George
W. Bush used frequently in 2001 to sell the military invasions of Afghanistan and other
countries, had little to do with Al Qaeda or Osama bin Laden. They were just convenient
targets for the White House to rally public support for its unprecedented usurpation of
presidential powers. The “War on Terror” had everything to do with the New World Order
“elite’s” quest for global hegemony and planetary dictatorship. That’s why it is here to stay in
perpetuity, according to U.S. military officials (till well after “al Qaeda had been consigned to
the ‘ash heap of history’.").
This also applies to our home turf. U.S. troops were deployed, for example, to guard the
Boston subway stations (see Soldiers deploy to MBTA subway stations following the
Boston Marathon bombing, Apr 24, 2013).

Remember also the filibuster Senator Rand Paul staged on March 7 to protest the use of
drones in America?
Ronald Reagan coined the term “Evil Empire” in reference to the Soviet Union. The
American taxpayers had funded the Cold War efforts for over four decades to combat evil
dictatorships like the USSR. Only to see us become an Evil Empire ourselves. And far more
dangerous.
The Soviet Union sought to control the Russian people and its communist satellites - like the
Warsaw Pact countries and Cuba. The American-led globalist “elite” are seeking to dominate
the entire planet. And the AUMF legislation is a carte blanche which the U.S. Congress gave
them 12 years ago to do it with.
So it is more than just a little hypocritical for the Senators such as, John McCain of Arizona
and others at yesterday’s Armed Services Committee hearings to gripe about the AUMF or
feign surprise about its wide- and long-reaching effects which basically shred the American
Constitution. Because they are the ones who did it.
The Senate gave President George W. Bush virtually unlimited war powers on Sep 18, 2001
when this legislation became law. The AUMF passed the Senate UNANIMOUSLY (!) on Sep
14, 2001. Which includes John McCain and others who are now feigning disdain. The
legislation had been sponsored by Tom Daschle, a Democrat from South Dacota (see AUMF http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/107/sjres23).

As a result, the U.S. troops are now deployed in over 150 countries around the world. The
global dictatorship, a communist dream or an Orwellian nightmare, has become a reality we
live in today. And we have the AUMF and our corrupt Senate and Congress to thank for it.
Like the Princes in Henry VIII or Louis XIV time, they sold out our liberties and hard fought
for Constitution for money and favors.
So it is rather pathetic and hypocritical to see these Senators now whine about the
consequences of their actions (“Obama War Powers Under 2001 Law 'Astoundingly
Disturbing,' Senators Say“ - per Huffington Post, May 17). They gave the President a loaded
gun. Is it any wonder that he is now using it?
By the way, not that it makes that much difference who is running the White House, but it
was not Obama who was President in 2001 when this law was passed. It was George W. Bush.
That’s whom the Senate authorized to wage war globally and indefinitely. So “Obama War
Powers Under 2001 Law” is an oxymoronic headline.
That aside, the only way America can hope to go forward and we can start to regain some of
our lost prestige in the world is if we turf all of them out of office, Democrats and
Republicans, lock stock and barrel. They are all tarred with the same brush - dirty money.
Until then, this country will continue be a model of a Demofarce from the 1990s which
morphed into an Evil Empire in the 21st century.
Let’s call spade a spade: America is now a full on global dictatorship. No surprise there. Here’s
what this writer said about that back in 1999, when the Truth in Media also designed and
published this New World Order flag-crest, the new Evil Empire emblem:
