The Tournament 2015 | 关于赛事
The Tournament System
The tournament format is based on Pools of 3 or 4
teams in Round 1, played on a league basis, followed
by progression into either the A or B Finals. Teams
are divided into groups of 3 or 4 teams. At the group
stage each team plays with the other teams once.
The first and second teams in each group qualify for
the “Play-off A” knock-out round for the right to play
in The Great Wall Cup Finals. The third and fourth
teams in the group stage will compete in “Play-off B”,
on a knock out basis, leading to The Great Wall Plate
Final. All teams will play at least 4 games, and as
many as 5, 6 or 7 games.

The Referees are all experienced International and
Domestic Referees, licensed by FIFA and chosen by
Beijing Football Association.
We welcome all the international referees who would
love to join us.
Participating in The Great Wall Cup as a Referee is
also a good chance to experience Beijing. Full
boarding accommodation and touring packages will
be provided to any Referee selected.

Arrival of all teams in Beijing, Airport pick-up and accommodation check-in. Welcome orientation for all coaches.(Explanation of Rules and Regulations for the week long
tournament period).
Training session can be arranged upon request.

Pitches & Facilities
All matches in The 2015 Great Wall Cup are scheduled to be
held at Beijing 2008 Olympic Paralympics Training Center,
which is located at Shunyi District, Beijing. (20KM from Beijing
City Center)
All Matches will be held at 3 pitches of the Beijing 2008
Olympic Paralympics , either on natural grass or artificial pitch.
The tournament committee reserves all rights to stage
matches and fixtures at alternate match venues.

The Tournament 2015 Awards | 关于赛事
Prize
- There will be individual trophies of Great Wall Cup and Great Wall Plate for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
- Medals will be awarded to players on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams in every category.
-Trophies will be presented to the player scoring the Most Goals in each category.
- Trophies will be presented to the Best Goalkeeper in each category.
-A “Fair Play” trophy will be awarded to one team in each category.
-Participating certificates will be given to all players and coaches at the tournament.

The Accommodation | 住宿
Beijing 2008 Olympic Paralympics Training Center
The Beijing 2008 Olympic Paralympics Training 4 Starr center, was
constructed in 2007. It covers 238,235 square meters and includes
athletes apartments, 3 football pitches, over 10 stadiums, 2
separate restaurants capable of holding over 1000 people, gyms and
bar. All within walking distance from each other. It is approximately
15-20 minutes driving from Beijing International airport.
Since the 2008 Olympic Games the facility has hosted many
international and domestic sporting events and matches such as
football, basketball, volleyball and swimming. The facilities are totally
professional and of the highest quality.
Athletes’ apartments include: Free Wifi, A/C,TV, hair dryer and
independent bathrooms.
Budget Accommodation, located on the first floor of the Velodrome
consists of 6 and 8 bulk bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms 8 showers, free
Wifi, A/C and TV.

The Great Wall Cup tournament committee offers a variety of food
during the tournament week to ensure all teams enjoy delicious
meals. The meals at the hotel will be buffet style consisting of a
mixture of Chinese and Western foods. On touring days, away from
the hotel, the meals will be at the local food and offers a good
opportunity to try and enjoy locally famous cuisine.
The top 3 famous cuisine in Beijing are:
No. 1 Beijing Duck: Formerly considered as imperial food, in the
early 1920’s it became popular and famous among the locals and
foreigners.
No. 2 Hot Pot: It is said that the hot pot was first created by Kenghis
Khan when he was chasing enemies. He found that the best way to
feed his soldiers was with the Hot Pot. It later became a traditional
national banquet for Yuan & Qing dynasty and is now a very popular
and traditional food in Beijing.
No. 3 Beijing Noodle: This is the most popular food in Beijing,
especially in the summer time, consisting of deep fried pork cooked
with sticky soy source mixed with 8 kinds of vegetable slices.

accepting to this terms and conditions you have entered into a legally binding contractual relationship between China Sports Tour and your group. It is important
that you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions. By participating and registering for this event, you are agreeing to the following:
Responsibility
China Sports Tour (a subsidiary of Direct Sports Management Ltd which expression shall for the purpose of these conditions include parents subsidiary affiliate or
associated companies and hereinafter shall be called “the Company”) acts only as agents for the hotels, bus or car companies, railroads or owners or contractors
providing accommodation, transportation or other services, and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contacts and tickets issued by the Company are issued
subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any accommodation, transportation or any other services whatsoever are provided by such hotels,
bus or car companies owners or contactors. The Company shall not be liable or responsible for deaths of or injury to any person or loss of or damage to any
property or otherwise (including baggage) whether due to its servants agents or employees negligence of otherwise arising out of or in connection with any
accommodation transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, hijack, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of
governments or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics,
quarantines, medical or custom regulation delays or cancellations of or changes in itinerary of schedules or overbooking or defaults, or from any cases beyond the
Company’s control or through acts of default of the hotel, bus or car companies, railroads or owners or contactors providing accommodation, transportation or
other services or for any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient passports, visas or other documents and neither the Company nor its servants
agents or employees shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the team participants as a result of
any of the foregoing causes. All prices quoted are based on Chinese RMB and is subject to foreign exchange fluctuations and subject to change. Unused services
cannot be refunded or exchanged. The Company reserves the right to cancel the tournament and/or modify the itineraries in any way it thinks desirable and further
reserves the right to accept any person or any team and may substitute hotels where necessary. The issuance and acceptance of receipts, tickets or travel orders
shall be deemed consent to the above.

Tournament Registration Process
6 Simple Steps To Complete Your Registration!
1. Submit your interest either via online contact form or filling out the registration form and send to [email protected]
2. The Great Wall Cup Tournament Committee representative will reply to your interest in the 2015 tournament package price
3. Once your team is ready to confirm your participation at the tournament, a 500USD tournament registration fee needs to be submitted to the
tournament committee to book your team's place at the tournament.
4. Once the tournament committee has confirmed your team's registration fee, an invoice will be sent for the total cost of your team's stay during the
tournament. An initial deposit of 50% of the total package will need to be paid within 2 month of your team's registration confirmation. Once, the initial
50% of total package fee has been received, Great Wall Cup Tournament committee will send official letters of invitation to your team for visa application
to China.
5. The remaining 50% of your team's tournament total package fee will need to be paid on or before the 8th June 2015 and no later.
6. Get your bags and boots ready to compete in the most competitive football tournament in Asia!

Cancellation Policy
NOTICE OF CANCELLATION MUST BE MADE IN WRITING to our office at S8-B1-102, Dangdai MOMA , No.1 Xiangheyuan Street, Beijing, China, 100028. This
will be acknowledged and should you not be acknowledged please contact China Sports Tour Office urgently to advice details, this is your responsibility.
The following cancellation charges apply to the whole group or individuals in the group:

To minimize cancellation penalty, cancellations must be received no less than 45 days prior to your departure date. For cancellation received more than 45 days, we
will charge 10% service fee plus 5% bank-processing fee, and the rest will be refunded.
For cancellation received more than 35 days but less than 45 days prior to your trip departure, we will charge 15% service fee plus 5% bank-processing fee, and the
rest will be refunded.
For cancellation received more than 25 days but less than 35 days prior to your trip departure, we will charge 30% service fee plus 5% bank-processing fee, and the
rest will be refunded.
For cancellation received more than 15 days but less than 25 days prior to your arrival, we will charge 45% service fee plus 5% bank-processing fee, and the rest will
be refunded.
For cancellation received less than 15 days prior to your arrival, we will charge 100%.
For non-show clients, 100% of your payment will not be refunded.
Please observe that Team registration fee is non-refundable.

Visa
*It is suggested by the tournament committee, that all participants should apply for their travel visas to China as soon as possible tourism.
To apply for a tourist visa, please contact the Chinese Embassy in your country/region for more information. Tournament invitation letter for visa
application will be sent to your team only when we confirm payment of 30% of total payment (initial accommodation deposit as noted in payment policy)
Travel Documents
All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas at the time of commencement for travel. All such documentation is the sole
responsibility of the client. Your travel agent may ask our assistance, on request, in organizing the necessary travel documentation. China Sports Tour
accepts no responsibility or liability for your failure to obtain appropriate documentation.
Itinerary Alteration
China Sports Tour reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tournament if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and /or events beyond
our control make such alteration necessary. If such situation arises, the increase or decrease in the tour price will be calculated and charged accordingly.
If your personal wishes or unforeseen circumstances require alterations to the original agreed upon itinerary, you are fully responsible for all additional
cost and are not entitled to any refund of payments already paid.
Code of Conduct
Group members or competitors who are under the legal alcohol age for the country you are in at the time will not be permitted to consume, purchase or
have in their possession, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes or drugs while participating in an China Sports Tour or event.
Group members must abide by the laws of The People’s Republic of China and any breaches could result in a non-refundable instant dismissal from the
tour.
Competitors must abide by the referees/umpires decision without showing any dissension at all times.
Group members will be expected to respect the rights of others at all times regardless of race or religion or sex.
Group members will be expected to behave in a manner at all times which will not bring disrepute to the name of China Sports Tour or the Association
to which they belong.
