Definitions
POS (Point of Sale) System
A PC based hardware and software system that supports the customer management and license sales of CPW products. These POS systems will be
deployed to all license agents at both retail outlets and CPW office locations statewide. The POS system’s network interface will connect to a site’s
local network and utilize the site’s internet access to connect to AWO.
The POS system makes available two URL web link references to the AWO platform which is accessible via the site’s internet connection.

Issuer Manager – Runs on AWO platform and provides Hunting and Fishing functionality and customer sales processing.

Field Manager - Runs on AWO platform and provides Campgrounds functionality and customer sales processing.
The POS system will not utilize Active Network’s CSM/Terminal Administration application.
The attached POS Peripheral Equipment, as described below, manages the physical media related to customer management and product sales. This
would include functions such as scanning a driver’s license and printing a license or receipt. A picture of Active’s POS system and rough physical
“footprint” estimates are shown below. Active Networks will also ensure each license agent has the appropriate paper and other supplies,
described as “agent consumables” in other project documentation.
POS Peripheral Equipment
