YOUR FAMILY IS OUR FAMILY
With so many demands on today's families, parents need all
the support they can get. That's why child care at the Y is
about more than looking after kids. It's about nurturing their
development by providing a safe place to learn foundational
skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build
self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty,
respect and responsibility. Our families enjoy:

B
We provide your infant with a secure, warm, loving atmosphere to learn, grow
and thrive in. Our staff is trained in all phases of infant care and our centers are
furnished to reflect the needs of very young children. The ratio of staff to children
is 1:3, thus ensuring that the young ones in our care receive the highest degree of
care and supervision they require.
TODDLERS (AGES 15 MONTHS—2.9 YEARS)
We provide your toddler with a safe, fun environment while simultaneously allowing
them to enjoy structured learning and play time. The ratio of staff to children is 1:4.
PRESCHOOLERS (2.9—5 YEARS)
This program provides your child with challenging and enriching learning experiences.
Preschoolers learn the importance of making choices, taking turns, developing
language skills and working in a group while they play games and create using their
imagination. Each child has the opportunity to grow at his/her own pace while
having fun and making new friends. The ratio of staff to children is 1:10.

community is a stronger, healthier place because of the Old Colony Y and its
diverse programs.
