How do I choose a Primary Dentist?
You have three ways to find information on participating dentists near the
University or near your home in the CIGNA Dental DHMO Network.
1. Select a Primary Dentist from this custom directory of dental offices located
within 10 miles of the Princeton University campus.
2. When you sign into MyUHS portal to enroll, the University has selected a
subset of the dental offices near Main Campus that you can simply select one,
and it will automatically populate the office number for that dentist in our
system. This is for your convenience and does not mean that you cannot
choose another participating dentist.
3. Search online for participating dentists in over 40 States including NJ and PA
at www.cigna.com or by calling CIGNA’s automated Dental Office Locator
at 1-800-367-1037. Both are available 24 hours a day.
How do I enroll with that Primary Dentist?
Once you select a dentist, you will then be required to input the 6-digit Office
Number (listed as OFC# xxxxxx) into the Princeton University online insurance
election portal at www.princeton.edu/myuhs.
After you receive your ID card from CIGNA, you can call CIGNA’s Member
Services to change your Primary Dentist, if desired. The Member Services phone
number will be on your ID card. You will not need to tell the University of this
change in dental office or make any change in the MyUHS system.
