TCOS project stations over Siberia
Inlet ( Li-Cor , flask sampling system,
probe for humidity,temperature and
pressure)

- Regular flights at six (300,500,1000,1500,2000
and 2500 meter) height level every 2-4 weeks with
flask sampling;
- 12 flasks per flight;
- Analysis of CO2,13CO2, C18OO, CH4, CO, N2O and
SF6 in MPI-BGC;
- In-situ measurements of CO2,temperature,
humidity and pressure;
- Duration of the flight:140 minutes;
- Location: from near Biebrza National Park- 53.5 N;
22.5 E (60 km north of Bialystok).

Conclusion and future action :
-during year 2003, 13 flights have been done;
-increase the frequency of aircraft measurements
on the eastern border of Poland (CarboEurope
project-year 2006 each 5 days one flight);
-addition of VOC analyses on all aircraft mesurements in
the boundary layer and the overlying free troposphere and
determination of their contribution to the atmosphere
canopy carbon fluxes within the target area.
