Slinger F - Slinger School District

The School District of Slinger
Food & Nutrition Services
2016-2017
The Food and Nutrition Department for the School District of Slinger uses a computerized debit lunch program. This
system allows parents to make one payment for all of their children’s lunches and ala carte purchases, no matter if their
children attend different schools within the district.
This is a debit system and “cashless” at the point-of-sale; accounts must have a positive balance for students to make
purchases. For this reason, it very important that each family is aware of their hot lunch account balance.
How to Make a Lunch Payment
Pre-printed payment envelopes are available in each school office. Plain envelopes may also be used, however;
Parents should include their name, student names, grade and school. Checks are preferred, made payable to:
Slinger Food Service. Students or parents may deposit these envelopes at any of the school offices in the designated
payment boxes or mail the envelope to: 207 Polk Street Slinger 53086 Please be aware that it may take up to 24 hours
for deposits to be entered into your account.
E-Funds for Schools Payment Option
The Slinger School District offers the option of making online deposits for your family’s hot lunch account using
E-Funds for Schools. E-funds for Schools is a company that our district contracts with to handle electronic transfer of
funds from your bank account to ours. For more information on this option, go to the district website
www.slinger.k12.wi.us/family/Family_EFunding.cfm Click on Family tab at the top and then E-funding in the list of tabs.
