Dear Ms. Macassee
I refer to your application for a licence.
I am to advise in accordance with Regulation 10(2)(b)(ii) of the EPA (Industria
Emissions) (Licensing) Regulations 20 13, that the following information is required
in support of the application under Regulation 9 of the Regulations:

1. Describe the manner by which the storage area would be cleaned and the
equipment to be used [Regulation 9(2)(g)].
2. Attachment No. B.6 states that the Wicklow Port Company (WPC) currently
operates under waste permit WFP-WW 12-0007-02 issued by Wicklow County
Council on August 22"d, 2012. Please provide a map showing site boundaries
of areas covered by the Permit.
3. Attachment D.l. states that the storage capacity of the building is up to 1,500
tonnes and that WPC will only store up to 1,200 tonnes of RDF in the shed at
any one time prior to a shipment being confirmed. Attachment K: Remedial
Management Plan paragraph 2.3 states that the proposal is to store no more
than 1,000 tonnes of RDF in the temporary storage building at any one time.
State the maximum quantity of waste (in tonnes or cubic metres) that will be
stored at the installation at any one time, broken down as follows: [Regulation

i. Waste intake and holding areas
ii.
RDF storage areas
iii.
Waste held in Quarantine Area
In each case, and for the total quantity, state how the quantities have
been calculated.

4. State the maximum unit cost (per tonne or cubic metre) for the removal and
. . disposal of waste, including RDF, treated waste and other materials, in the
event of unexpected closure-of the installation, bearing in mind that waste
might have degraded in the interim period before removal and might have
little or no recoverable monetary value, This analysis may propose different
maximum unit costs for different classes of waste and other materials.
[Regulation 9(2)(r)].
5. Describe the arrangements for bale management at the installation, in order
that bale retention times are minimised. [Regulation 9(2)(g)].
6. For the 12-month period to date, provide a list of ships used to ship waste, including
the dates of shipments and the tonnage loaded in each case. [Regulation 9(2)(g)].
In addition to the above please also provide an updated non-technical summary to reflect the
information provided in your reply.
The requested information should be submitted to the Agency within eighf weeks of the date
of this notice, in order to allow the Agency to process and determine your. application.
In the circumstances, you should make immediate arrangements to have the required
document(s) (1 signed original and 1 CODY in hardcopv format, and 2 conies of all files in
electronic searchable PDF format on CD-ROM) submitted to the Agency without delay.
Your response to this request should be directed to Noeleen Keavey, Administration Officer,

It should be noted that the eight-week period within which the Agency is to decide the
proposed determination will commence on the day on which this notice has been complied
