PETROLEUM PRODUCTS BID FORM
This invitation to bid is to establish a price contract on unleaded Gasoline, Diesel Fuel
#2 and Diesel Fuel off-road for use by the Madison County Government for equipment
and other county vehicles.
DELIVERIES
Deliveries are to be made to the Madison County Road Department’s service garage
at 210 South Robbins Court..
QUALITY
All unleaded gasoline purchased through this bid must have the following minimum
standard of SAE j312d, 87 Octane, and should not contain any type of alcohol.
SHIPPING
The successful bidder will be responsible for all of the shipment until delivery is
completed to the site. The price quoted will contain any and all shipping charges within
the bidder margin amount.
BASIS of PRICE QUOTATION
The awarding of this bid will be based on the “Bidder Margin” figure. On any day,
the Madison County Fiscal Court’s cost for a particular product will be the “Terminal
Price per Gallon” on that delivery date, in Madison County; plus any applicable taxes;
plus the quoted “Bidder Margin”.
All prices, taxes and margins quoted below must be current on the day of the bid
opening. All bidders are required to include a “Terminal Price” sheet from the supplier
of the product in question, with their bid. Successful bidders are required to continue
submitting these “Terminal Price” sheets with each invoice billing the Fiscal Court for a
purchase.
PRICE CHANGES
The “Terminal Price” quoted on this bid will be allowed to change as the actual
“Terminal Price” changes. As stated above, proof of these changes will be required in
the form of an up-dated “Terminal Price” sheet from the Bidders product suppliers.
The taxes applicable to these products will be allowed to change as the particular
taxing entity varies their rates.
The “Bidder Margin” is fixed for the term of this contract.
