Alpha particles are a positively charged helium nucleus
Coz they got a charge they are deflected in a magnetic field

The maximum disturbance from the starting point
It's linked to volume, the louder the sound
I'm here to teach you
The bigger the amplitude from the centre to the top

She says, it's number of waves per second measured in hertz
Frequency is linked to the pitch of sound
The higher the frequency the higher the pitch

Mitosis and Meiosis

It seems everybody makes new cells
When they grow and repair
And nearly every cell has identical genes and identical chromosomes
The process is called Mitosis
First the chromosomes copy
Then they're pulled to opposite sides and the cell divides making two
daughter..cells

Two diploid daughter cells clones of their parents

There's another way to make new cells
Cells that are called gametes
Sperm and eggs are haploid so when they fuse there are 46 chromosomes
The process is called Meiosis
First the chromosomes copy
Then the pairs divide, then the copies divide making four haploid daughter..cells

Four haploid daughter cells totally unique
