EUKARYOTES DOMAIN: EUKARYA • Animals are multicellular • In most animals, cells are organized into tissues that make up organs and organ systems. • All animals must get their energy by eating something else making them heterotrophs. • Reproduce sexually by eggs. Some eggs develop inside the body and some develop outside the body. • Cells lack chloroplast and a cell wall but contain organelles including a nucleus that contains DNA. VERTERBRATES: have a backbone The animal kingdom is the largest kingdom with more than 1 million known species.
