AP Chemistry

AP Chem scholars,
Congratulations on choosing to challenge yourself in one of the most difficult courses that we offer at
DGF. You will work hard this year, but I promise I will do everything in my power to set you up for
success on the AP Chemistry exam in May 2017. But this will require you to possibly work harder than
you've ever had to work in school for a class. It is not for the faint of heart. If you are not willing to work
hard, talk to Dr. Bond NOW and look at a different class.
In order to prepare for a successful experience in AP Chemistry, we must not forget all of the first year
chemistry we've already learned. To that end, your summer work requires you to work diligently
through the following study guides. Each part consists of a video link that will walk you through
answers/explanations for that particular topic. If you lose the paper copy I gave you at school, each
section has its own link to the file so you can print them out on your own.
Each completed packet will be due on the VERY FIRST DAY OF CLASS and will COUNT AS A HUGE TEST
GRADE. IF NOT TURNED IN ON THE FIRST DAY, YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO TO BEGIN THE COURSE. NO
LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT.
Total Time = 7 hours 41 minutes
Welcome to AP Chemistry. I'm looking forward to a tremendously successful 2016-17 with each of you!
Please feel free to email me at [email protected] or [email protected] if
you have any questions.
