Plaid or solid navy blue dress slacks with flat
front or pleated front. They may be twill zip front
or elastic back or corduroy zip front. They must
fit to the waist and not hang low.
Solid navy, black, or dark brown with a small
buckle must be worn with all pants and shorts in
grades 3-8.
100% cotton, denim, pants with contrasting
stitching, metal studs or rivets. Dockers brand
or any brand that fades from dark navy.

White tailored blouse (no frills) with short or longsleeves and peter pan or open collar. Shirts are
worn on every regular uniform day and are tucked
in at all times. Undershirts are solid white with no
visible collars. Polo Spirit Wear shirt
Solid navy blue walking shorts with or without a
cuff and no pockets on pant legs. The shorts are
fingertip length. Gym shorts are also an option
when they are worn with the gym shirt.
The jumper and the skirt are navy and green
plaid. It may not be shorter than 2 inches above
the knee. Culottes following the same guidelines
are an alternative to the jumper or skirt.
Navy, black, or brown DRESS SHOES. Dress
shoe heels may not be taller than 1.5 inches. Low
top SOLID black or white athletic shoes with
matching laces are an option but NO COLOR
DESIGNS, LIGHTS OR LOGOS of any kind!
Laces must be securely tied.
St. Thomas green with S.T.A. logo or

Any shorts other than uniform or gym shorts
including any spandex-type shorts, shorts that
are shorter than fingertip length
Any color except what is stated. No cinch belts.
No large or decorative buckles
Slippers, flip-flops, jellies, sandals, platforms,
backless shoes, hiking boots, combat boots,
crocs, dress boots (or snow boots when
indoors), cleats or steel-toed shoes/boots.
Athletic shoes with colored laces, logos, lights,
or designs.
Anything other than STA style. No hooded
sweatshirts or zip jackets may be worn during
class.
Solid navy blue, solid black or solid white tights,
knee socks, or anklet socks that extend above the
shoe or tights. Tights and anklets worn together
must be the same color.
Solid navy blue crew neck cardigan, Solid navy
blue V-neck pullover with sleeves or sleeveless Vneck vest sweater
“No-show” socks—footie socks that slip into
the shoe, frills or other colors on the socks.
S.T.A. t-shirt or sweatshirt for cold weather, and
S.T.A. green gym shorts or sweat pants for cold
weather. S.T.A. Spirit Wear tee shirts are
permitted.
Any low top athletic shoes. Laces must be
securely tied. Wear with solid white, green or
black socks.
Limited to a wristwatch, one bracelet, and a
simple gold or silver chain necklace. No more
than one small ring per hand. Girls may wear one
small earring per ear.
Hair is to be neat, clean, and well-groomed, of its
own natural color and all dye/highlights removed
by the first day of school. Girls may wear a
headband, hair bow, barrette, or scrunchie as
featured in the uniform catalog. (MartiNelli or
Schoolbelles).
Not permitted.
Groomed neatly, ONLY clear nail polish.
Other pants are not permitted.
Worn at recess only—not during the day.
Hats are not worn indoors.
Sweaters that are anything but a solid navy blue
or sweaters with a logo or design on them.
Anything that is not an athletic shoe or has a
high top or is not securely tied or worn
without socks
Hoop or dangling earrings, nose, tongue, or
eyebrow jewelry, wristbands, chokers, or
longer, distracting jewelry
Extreme or distracting hair styles and large hair
bows or head scarves that do not match the
dimensions of those in the uniform catalog
Perfume or cologne
Artificial nails or French manicure.
