To date, both in-‐‑and-‐‑pre-‐‑service educators from 130+ school districts and 6 traditional and alternative teacher preparation programs have worked with higher education faculty and educational professionals to author over 1000 scope and sequence and instructional unit samples. Colorado’s Sample Curriculum Project-‐‑ Background Scope and Sequence (overviews) Instructional Units Implementation Resources A similar cross-‐‑constituency collaboration brought together parent/family groups, State Department personnel, non-‐‑profit, and for profit resources and personnel, to create family guides for the 10 content areas and (preK-‐‑12th) grade level specific Colorado Academic Standards. The guides describe road maps to help ensure that all Colorado students graduate ready for life, college, and careers. They also provide overviews of the learning expectations and offer examples of educational experiences that students may engage in, and that families could support, during the school year.
