KOCH SNOWFLAKE AND SIERPINSKI GASKET
This file includes some pictures of the Koch snowflake and Sierpinski Gasket that I showed on
the projector in class.
Koch Snowflake
Recall that the Koch Snowflake was constructed using the recursive process KS given by the
following picture. Starting with an equilateral triangle, we construct the snowflake by applying KS
KS
to each straight edge. Here are the first few iterations of the process.
