Thesis Checklist for Compact Disc
Will the CD open?
CD must have 2 files:
Complete thesis (.pdf format).
Abstract (.txt format). Abstract must not be a Word or .pdf document.
Does the .pdf open to the first page (Title Fly) of the thesis document?
Does the Title Fly Page have no running head and no visible page number?
Does the Dedication Page have no running head and no visible page number?
Title Page. Running head and page number (1) begins here and runs throughout the rest
of the document.
Optional copyright page. If your thesis is copyrighted, the copyright page has a running
head and will be page 2.
Abstract
Table of Contents
Page numbers of chapters and headings match listing on Table of Contents.
List of Tables
Table page numbers match with List of Tables.
List of Figures
Figure page numbers match with List of Figures.
List of Appendices
Appendices page numbers match with List of Appendices.
List of Abbreviations
Text – divided into chapters, headings, and subheadings as necessary.
References, in the format specified by the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association (6th Edition).
