
Is an instructional leader who can provide leadership for improving the curriculum and guiding the continued
implementation personalized learning and 21st Century Skills.

Understands elementary and secondary teaching and learning, research and assessment and will work
collaboratively with others in the implementation of best practices.

Works productively and positively with the Board of Education, educating and leading them as they seek best
solutions for the District and its people.

Is a visible leader who builds authentic and sincere relations with staff, administration, parents and
community members.

Has skill in framing issues, working collaboratively to find solutions, presenting options, and ultimately making
recommendations to the Board of Education.

Is a person with integrity with high ethical standards with a strong desire to bridge gaps and embrace our
diversity.

