Alkalise, Ionise & Energise!
The Energise Alkaline Water Jug is an incredible, portable, alkalising,
ionising water filter that not only purifies your water, but it also
increases the alkalinity of the water to around pH 8-9!
Not only that, but the filtration through ionic minerals means that
the water becomes more hydrating, as ionised water cells become
more clustered and easy for the body to absorb.
This incredible jug is so portable that it means you can alkalise onthe-go, whether at home, at work or on holiday!
How to Set Up & Use Your Energise Alkaline Water Jug
Step One: Wash & Splosh

Remove the main filter of the jug, open the green citric acid
sachet and pour all of the contents into the jug, onto the
stone filter in the bottom.
Now detach the stick from the main filter with a twist action
and lay the stick on its side in the jug and fill the jug with
tap water.
If the secondary filter is not already in the pitcher just pop it
into the top of the jug.
Step Two: Shake!
Now put the lid on the jug and shake it for 2-3 minutes so
that the water passes through the alkaline stick and the
stones at the bottom.
As a tip, hold the jug by the handle with one hand and with
your thumb over the spout with the other hand. Maybe
do this shaking outside so you can get nice and vigourous
without worrying about spilling!

Step Three: Flush!
Now pour out the water and thoroughly rinse the filter stick
and stones in the bottom of the jug two or three times. If
there is some darkness to the water, this is just charcoal
residues from the filter and just rinse until the darkness
goes away. It is certainly of no concern.
Now run an entire cycle through the filter, rinse out and
you’re ready to start enjoying your alkaline, ionised water
from your Energise jug!

Frequently Asked Questions
How Often Do I Need To Replace The Filters?
There are three easy to swap filters in the jug:
Top Filter: replace every 4-5 months (£6.99)
Filter Stick: replace every 12 months (£8.99)
Stones: replace every 12 months (£8.99)
As you can see these filter replacements are more durable AND much cheaper than a standard filter.
How Long Does It Take To Filter Water Through?
The water can filter through at the pace of a slow running tap. In other words, you can put the filter under
the tap, get the tap running and leave it for around a minute and come back to a full filter.
Ideally, you would then shake for thirty seconds or leave for a few minutes before using. The longer you
leave the water, the more effective it will be, but it is absolutely fine to use immediately.
Do I Need pH Drops Too?
I have tested the efficacy of the pH jug and it works wonders, taking my East Anglian tap water from about
6.5 to about 7.8 - 8. This is of course fantastic, and maybe you are cool with this pH level, but the PuripHy
drops take the water up to 9.5 - 10 - which is just brilliant. It is perfect in fact!
How Is This Different From An Electric Ioniser?
An electric ioniser is just a far more effective way to alkalise, energise and ionise your water. Apart from
the convenience of simply having the ionised water ‘on tap’ – these are the main reasons why I have an
electric ioniser at home (Jupiter) and use the jug for work and travel:
a) The Jupiter has an in-built, self cleaning mechanism which guarantees you will always get the pH and
ionisation as you did the day you bought it
b) The increased ionisation of the Jupiter means that the water actually becomes highly anti-oxidant
c) You can set the pH of the water to whatever level you choose
d) And the ‘on tap’ convenience is just fantastic
As you can see these filter replacements are more durable AND much cheaper than a standard filter.
Is This Better Than a Standard Filter?
This water filter is lightyears ahead of standard, mainstream water filters. While these waters do an OK job
of filtering the tap water, from my testing they actually make the water MORE acidic. It must be one of the
minerals they use in the filtration chamber.
The Energise Jug alkalises, ionises and is cheaper in the long run, requiring less filter changes – and cheaper
filter changes!
How Do I Wash My Jug?
When you need to wash the jug (whenever you feel comfortable – the filter does not need washing
through), you can wash the outside as normal with soapy water, but only wash the inside with warm tap
water – no suds. Let it dry naturally and then run a cycle through before using again. You can’t put it in
the dishwasher!
Can I Use This Water In My Kettle?
Absolutely! You’ll notice your kettle stays cleaner and your tea tastes better! Feel free to use the water
from this jug in all drinks!
Is This Water Safe With Medications?
My honest answer is – I am not allowed to answer this question! Legally it is impossible! And even if I
could it would depend on the medication in question! I strongly recommend you seek a nutritionally aware
and informed medical professional and discuss your specific medication with them.
