The!volcano!sunset!ceremony!is!the!heart!and!backbone!of!Dinosaur!Caves!
Music!Festival.!!From!the!beginning!our!team!set!out!to!create!an!event!that!would!
be!different!from!predeceasing!events!in!the!overwhelming!cohesion!of!the!thematic!
appeal.!!Through!this!Volcano!Sunset!Ceremony,!we!believe!we!can!achieve!this!
cohesion.!!The!ceremony!will!take!place!in!the!time!surrounding!the!sunset!over!the!
pacific.!!The!massive!volcano!centerpiece!will!be!mainly!inactive!and!unused!

been!primarily!unMilluminated!and!simply!prehistoric!in!effects!and!lighting.!!Except!

the!hidden!magic!SLO!DJ!Events!has!been!working!so!hard!to!develop!and!

The!goal!is!to!create!approximately!a!fifteenMminute!ceremony!that!will!
transform!the!event!from!a!very!classical!interpretation!of!the!Jurassic!Period!and!
dinosaurs,!into!a!lively!illuminated!futuristic!and!technologically!advanced!Jurassic!
event.!!One!idea!we!really!like!is!to!propose!to!the!crowd!the!notion!that!instead!of!a!
meteor!destroying!the!dinosaur!population,!what!if!a!large!volcanic!explosion!was!
the!cause!of!their!extinction?!!Then!ofMcourse!our!gigantic!volcano!will!erupt.!!It!is!
the!eruptions!we!believe!that!will!catalyst!the!whole!event!transformation.!!!
Using!smoke!and!lighting!effects!we!will!simulate!the!eruption!from!the!tip!of!
the!volcano.!!Then!preinstalled!LED!panels!along!the!volcano!will!illuminate!

sequentially!to!simulate!the!lava!flow!down!the!volcano.!!Our!crowd!will!be!

With!all!projects!of!this!nature!there!is!an!inherent!risk!that!for!unforeseen!
reasons!the!Project!will!either!not!be!completed!or!not!be!completed!on!time.!!
Though!we!have!little!doubt!about!finishing!this!project,!we!feel!it!wise!to!have!a!
contingency!plan.!!If!the!project!is!uncompleted!prior!to!the!event!we!will!do!
