Start Here
Insert the white disc to start
the installation.

This Quick Start Guide provides basic installation instructions.
More detailed, step-by-step instructions and minimum system
requirements can be found in the NavigatorV® User Guide located
on the white application disc (UserGuide.pdf ).

There are two installation types:
Stand-Alone: software and all content are viewed and managed
from one computer.
Network: content is viewed on several computers but resides
on a network server.

destination folder (recommended).

If you are installing NavigatorV in
a terminal server environment,
please refer to the installation
instructions in the User Guide
located on the white disc.
Install Another Network Client
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to
the destination folder selected in the
Content Destination step.
Share the content folder so that the
Network Clients will be able to access files
from that folder.
Sharing the Content Folder:
1) Navigate to the folder used in the Content
Destination step.
2) Right-click the Navigator folder and choose
Properties.
3) In Properties, click the Sharing tab, then
click Share this Folder. (On Vista/Server
2008/Win 7, first click Advanced Sharing.)
4) Click Permissions, select Everyone in upper
pane, select Full Control in lower pane, then
click OK.
Click Browse... to select a destination
(recommended). Write down the new
destination here for reference.

Enter Product Code and Access Code
then click ADD ->> . If you have other
codes, continue adding them. When
done, click Next > .
Content Installation
Create User Accounts
Click Start>All Programs>ATP>
NavigatorV(R)>User Administration
Click Add... to add a user and
assign libraries.
Click
to select the default
destination folder.
Product Registration
Navigating to the Content Folder:
1) Navigate to the selected folder location
using My Network Places (or Network if you
are on Vista/Server 2008/Win 7).
2) Select the Navigator folder then click OK.

Click Browse... and navigate to the shared
content folder selected in the Content
Destination step of the Network Manager
installation.

Start NavigatorV by doubleclicking on the desktop shortcut

Creating User Accounts:
1) In the Add New User box,
enter a user name and
password (optional) then click
Next.
2) Select the library or libraries
for that user then click Finish.
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each
Network Client user. When
completed, you may close User
Administration.
Use this information at the top of
Company Name:

Click Next > .
If your library includes multiple
discs, you will be prompted
to insert them.
Enter information in the fields, then
click Next > .
