© The present invention provides a conveying apparatus (100) comprising a plurality of rotary members (2,3); a frame (5) for supporting the plurality of
rotary members (2,3); and an endless belt (1) wound
around the plurality of rotary members (2,3) and
moved by rotation of the rotary members (2,3) to
convey a sheet, the belt (1) including a core (12)
embedded within the belt (1) and formed by weaving
threads (10) extending in a circumferential direction
of the belt and threads (11) extending in a widthwise
direction of the belt; and wherein, in order to cancel
a deflection force of the belt (1) generated by the
cause of distortion of the frame (5) when the rotary
members (2,3) are rotated to shift the belt (1), each
of the threads (10) extending in the circumferential
direction in the core (12) has a constant twist direction (6,7) to generate a deflection force opposite to
the aforementioned deflection force.
