Use of this table and measurement performance:
This table has been generated mathematically to show two decimal points in order to avoid ‘rounding
issues.’ However, the typical measurement accuracy by way of a hand held refractometer (optical or
digital) will limit the performance of measurement. Please assume the accuracy of measurement to
be within that of the instrument being used to perform the test, which is typically ±0.2 °Brix for most
hand held refractometers.

This conversion table has been prepared from data contained within the International Standard BS
ISO 22241-1:2006, Diesel engines - NOx reduction agent AUS 32, Part 1: Quality requirements.
Data is valid at 589nm and 20°C only. Care should be taken when using this table with instrument
fitted with ATC (automatic temperature compensation) that corresponds to sugar and for instruments
using a different wavelength than that of sodium yellow (589nm) that do not comply to Standard BS
ISO 22241-1:2006.
