Webster Bank Brings UConn Championship Trophies to Fans
WATERBURY, Conn., July 15, 2014 – Webster Bank, the Official Bank of UConn Athletics and the
University of Connecticut Alumni Association, will showcase the university’s dual national basketball
championship trophies from the 2013-2014 season at several banking center locations throughout Connecticut.
Fans are invited to take pictures with the esteemed awards won by the men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The displays will be at the following Webster locations:
Thursday, July 17 - Stamford: Noon – 2 p.m. at 1959 Summer Street;
Thursday, July 24 - Bloomfield: Noon – 2 p.m. at Copaco Shopping Center, 319 Cottage Grove Road;
Thursday, July 31 - Torrington: Noon – 2 p.m. at 1180 East Main Street;
Thursday, August 7 - Bristol: Noon – 2 p.m. at Bristol Plaza, 647 Farmington Avenue; and
Thursday, August 14 – Waterbury: Noon – 2 p.m. at 364 Reidville Drive.
The first 100 people at each site will receive a commemorative championship car magnet. All UConn fans are
invited to meet Jonathan, the mascot, and learn about ways Webster Bank can help them display their Husky
Pride.
