About ExamView Student
ExamView Student allows you to use a computer to (1) respond to questions on an online test from anywhere through an
internet connection and (2) join a polling session and respond to teacher-led or student-managed assessments.
ExamView Student allows you to respond to a variety of question types including Multiple Choice, Multiple Response,
True/False, Yes/No, Numeric Response, Completion, Matching, and Short Answer. Questions and answer choices are
displayed.

The following technical requirements are required for ExamView Student to function properly:

Instructors must use ExamView Student with ExamView Assessment Suite v11.

Installing ExamView Student
1 Go to www.turningtechnologies.com/downloads.
2 Select the ExamView tab.
3 Click Launch ExamView Student under ExamView Student Web.

Logging into an ExamView Student Online Test
To use ExamView Student, you must log in using a Student ID, an Online Test ID, and a test password.
1 Open ExamView Student.
2 Enter your assigned Student ID provided by your instructor in the Student ID field.
TIP
If you do not remember your Student ID, ask your instructor.
3 Enter the Online Test ID provided by your instructor in the Online Test ID field.

NOTE
If you do not see an Online Test ID field, click Click here at the bottom of the window to
respond to an online test.

5 Enter the password provided by your instructor in the Password field.
6 Click OK.
The first question on the online test is displayed.
Responding to Online Test Questions
An online test may include a variety of question types including Multiple Choice, Multiple Response, True/False, Yes/No,
Numeric Response, Matching, and Short Answer. Questions and answer choices are displayed.

You can respond to the questions at your own pace from anywhere.
The left side of the window allows you to navigate from one question to the next. Each
question is numbered and includes an abbreviation of the question type (for example, MC
is a Multiple Choice question).
You can scroll the questions in the navigation pane by clicking in the area and holding as
you move up or down.
The selected question displays in the question area. Answer options display above the
question.
You can answer the questions in any order.
Answered questions display your answer in the navigation pane immediately under the
question identifier.
You can return to a question and change your answer.
Responding to Multiple Choice Questions
Multiple Choice questions display the question and answer choices. You must select one answer choice.

Submitting a Test
After you answer all the questions on an online test, you must submit the test.

Logging into the ExamView Student App
To use ExamView Student, you must log in using a Student ID and a Session ID.
1 Open ExamView Student.
By default, the app will open to the Online Test login.

2 Select Click Here at the bottom of the app to use ExamView Student on a polling session.
3 Enter your assigned Student ID provided by your instructor.
4 Enter the Session ID provided by your instructor and click
.
5 If prompted, enter the password provided by your instructor in the Password field.
6 Click OK.
You have now joined the session.
TIP
You can only join one session at a time.
