ASSEMBLING AND INSTALLING
ALUMINUM PANNING
8.
Arrange aluminum panning parts on a clean flat work surface, flat side down. Install #8 x 1 1/4"
screws; do not tighten completely until all screws are in place. Make sure comers are flat and even
then tighten screws. See illustration 7.
NOTE: Install optional panning expanders if supplied. See page 17,
9.
Install vinyl sill cover into groove on sill. See illustration 7.
8
WARNING: Exercise caution in ensuring that
the panning frame is kept away from scrap
residue when trimming to avoid scratching.
Also make sure the waste pieces you are
cutting are pulled away from frame as they
have a tendency to curl and scratch the
frame.

trimmed off panning sill use the installation
template supplied and measure from the
bottom of the template to the masonry
opening sill as shown in illustration 9.
Remove the difference between the
template measurement and the actual
dimension of the sill panning. After sill has
been cut, measure the masonry opening to
determine the amount to be removed from
the head panning. The height should be
l/S" less than masonry opening.
