New Contactor
Chamberlain Professional Products is very pleased to offer an updated contactor for
the SL540, SL570, SL580 and SL590 Slide Gate Operators, as well as for the SW470 and
SW490 Swing Gate Operators.
Starting on immediately we will be switching to the new K series contactor in all
model production. In addition, this change enhances our solid products by using a smaller
and more efficient component. The new K series contactor is more efficient by using half
the current than required by the old D series contactor. The result is less strain on the
operator’s power supply and more available power for your accessory devices.
LiftMaster has utilized this contact for 8-years in other commercial products with very
good success.
Below you will find pictures of the affected parts, as well as a reference list that will
highlight the old and new series of contactor and accessories.
