Kaben, they have specialised on the development and pro-
duction of medical lubricants and erotic cosmetics. But compared

The Lubry GmbH was founded in 2009 by
the Kaben’s and until 2012 was based in Bad
Schwartau in Schleswig-Holstein before moving
to larger business premises close to Scharbeutz.
The company name of Lubry represents the
main line of business, the lubricants. They
wanted an original but understandable name for
the company, and as is normally the case, the
best ideas come whilst having a few drinks. The

Compared to other manufacturers, the Lubry
GmbH doesn’t sell any of their own brands, but
function as a contract manufacturer. That means
that they only produce exclusive products for
their customers, which means that they don’t
have trouble with the competition. What they
offer is the complete product package from formula development, production, filling, assembly
and warehousing. Parallel to this, the company
will also take care of the composition of all of
the documentation for medical lubricant, safety
assessments for cosmetics, dermatological tests
and much more, if so desired. They offer their
customers a broad portfolio of medical lubricants, erotic cosmetics, such as massage oils,
stimulating crèmes and gels, cleaning sprays
for toys, pheromone products and much more.
It is especially in the lubricant sector where
the company from Scharbeutz can draw on a
huge amount of formulas: from water based to
silicone based, from aromatised to warming and
cooling effects, or with added ingredients such
as Hyaluron and silk protein, there is something
for everyone.

According to the company there is an increasing demand for products that offer more to the
consumers. The consumers have gone through a
transformation. They are still looking for products that will make the time they spend with
one another more pleasant, but place a great
deal of emphasis on the agreeability and body

consumer of today is always on the look out for

Soon they will be registered with the FDA,
which means, if all goes well they will be able to
convince the American market that quality is not
a coincidence towards the middle of this year.
