Andrew Jennings Andrews High School Name:_____________________________ 2012 - 2013 Date:________________ Trophic Level BINGO! As we talked about earlier, every organism on the planet belongs to a food web and each level of the food web is called a trophic level. As you move up the trophic levels you move from primary producers all the way up to top predators (also called quaternary consumers). This follows a fairly straight pattern from plants to top predators, and to help visualize this you will be building your own BINGO cards using the word bank below. You will notice that each letter represents a different trophic level (B=primary producer, I=primary consumer, N=secondary consumer, G=tertiary consumer, O=quaternary consumer) and when put in order will build a food web. There is NO free space, you must fill all of the boxes on the board with an organism. The first person to get BINGO wins a fabulous prize!
