AESTHETICALLY APPEALING
With its low profile and versatile mounting capabilities, the ODIN Hawkwing is a
UHF RFID read point solution (portal) that offers accuracy and ease of deployment.
Encompassing a reader, antennas, and cables in a single enclosure, the Hawkwing
blends inconspicuously into office environments, hospitals, labs, data centers, and
armories.
The Hawkwing communicates over Ethernet and is powered by
Power over Ethernet (PoE). AC power adapters are available if
PoE is not.
The Hawkwing achieves optimal accuracy by using circularly
polarized antennas mounted at various angles. This innovative
configuration creates a larger effective read-zone in which RFID
tags are successfully read in any orientation and position.
With its attractive, lightweight, and low-profile design the
Hawkwing triumphs over the size and mounting limitations of
traditional portals by offering two mounting options: either flat
onto any surface or perpendicular to the surface.
The Hawkwing is ideal for tracking RFID tagged items such as
medical devices, carts, weapons, files, or people passing
through doorways, hallways, or other zonal coverage areas.
FEATURES
•
Accurate, low-profile read point designed for ease of
deployment

operation)
•
AC power can be used if PoE is not available
•
No requirement to route cables between
Hawkwings, depending on configuration
•
Fire retardant
•
Lightweight (10 lbs.)
•
Quickly mounts flush or perpendicular to any surface
•
When combined with ODIN’s EasyTAP, provides stray
tag elimination, directionality and certainty-based
locating of tagged assets
