LE BRISTOL PARIS NOW ASSEMBLES THE GREATEST NUMBER
OF MOF’S IN THE WORLD
KEVIN CHAMBENOIT
Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) 2015 for the
"Maître d’Hôtel, Service and Arts de Table" category
Le Bristol Paris and Oetker Collection are extremely proud to count among their ranks a
sixth "Meilleur Ouvrier de France." Kevin Chambenoit has won first place, out of 41
candidates, in the "Maître d’Hôtel" category, the competition's highest honor.
No palace hotel in the world has ever assembled so many "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France."
Beyond the hotel's respected status as the standard for French art de vivre, Le Bristol Paris
once again demonstrates its team members' passionate commitment to the realization of
perfection. Each team member seeks to improve his or her specific expertise, with the help of
all, at the service of the clientele and the reputation of French hospitality and fine dining.
Kevin Chambenoit, Le Bristol Paris’s Food and Beverage Director, holds a Master's degree in
Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Sorbonne. Mr. Chambenoit fully devoted
himself to preparing for this contest, driven by his passion for his team's expertise and his
desire to share it. Trained intensively by Frédéric Kaiser, Director of the three-star Epicure
restaurant and winner of the "Maître d’Hôtel" MOF in 2011, Mr. Chambenoit considers this
title the beginning of an ongoing challenge to constantly elevate his team's level of expertise
at Le Bristol Paris.
The title of "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" rewards perfection and a respect for the rules of the
métier. Within such absolute mastery, the greatest artisans are liberated to express their own
personality. Le Bristol Paris is proud of these six exceptional talents, the French ambassadors
of a unique expertise.
In the words of Mr. Chambenoit, "I am grateful to Le Bristol Paris for supporting me throughout
this contest. I would like to thank Didier le Calvez, President and General Manager; Leah Marshall,
Hotel Manager; Damien Largeau, Food and Beverage Deputy Director; and Frédéric Kaiser, Director
of Epicure Restaurant, for their trust and support. I would also like to thank our suppliers, who helped
me pass this contest under the best conditions possible: Christofle, St. Louis, Garnier Thiebaut, Ercuis
and Forbes. This title is the beginning of a great adventure in the transmission of our values."
Didier Le Calvez declares, "I am very proud of Kevin's performance and this sixth MOF title for
Le Bristol Paris, which is now the only palace in the world to hold so many. Through his success,
Kevin has proven the importance to our palace of imparting the French art de vivre."
