Fusion Force Pom Pon Recreational Dance Team– 2016-2017
General Information
We are so glad to have you here and interested in becoming part of this exciting team! Our goal is to give all
of our dancers a strong technical base to perform challenging and innovative choreography while instilling a
strong work ethic and demand for teamwork. Fusion Force Pom Pon Recreational Dance Team is an
opportunity for each dancer to excel and improve and have the thrill of performing at around our region
without the need to attend competitions or travel..
Our Recreational Pom team is a great introduction to team based dancing. But, being part of a team is a
commitment! When you choose to be part of any team you are making a commitment to everyone on the
team to be at rehearsals and to participate fully throughout the entire 2016-2017 season. Our schedule based
firstly on the quality of the events and secondly on how it will benefit our dancers. Each event will be chosen
to allow for a nice schedule that does not jam everything into 1 month and above all else that gives our
dancers an opportunity to excel. Any other extra-curricular activities or commitments that you have need to
be written down and turned with your information sheet by the first week of team practice, any concessions
that need to be made for your dancer will be considered only if brought to us in a timely manner. Please do
not email or text us the day of an event that conflicts with a rehearsal, part of being a team member is
learning to be organized and taking responsibility for your schedule, we are here to help you and work with
you, but we always have to have the good of the GROUP in mind and we ask you to remember that we are
scheduling for many families, not just yours. All decisions and final say come down to Miss Christine and
Miss Jenny.
As a Company member you are required to adhere to the set rehearsal schedule. Your team class time will be
your each week at the same time slot. Because this will be a class, it will be paid to the studio as regular
tuition. There may be additional weekend rehearsals and of course performances that the staff will be working
for you, there is no additional charge for the staff’s time during these long rehearsals and weekends your
tuition will cover all our coaching time.
Required Classes – All team members must attend the rehearsal class each week. Again all your team
classes are part of your regular studio tuition deducted from your studio account the first of each month. We
feel the more you are in the studio training the faster you will grow as dancers and the more well-rounded you
will become. It is also highly recommended to take a technique or ballet class as well as one of our acro
classes, but these are not mandatory for participation.

Financial responsibilities: Fusion Center for Dance has an automatic billing and payment system. On the
first of each month your tuition fees will be automatically deducted from whatever payment you set up.
Your fees include everything listed below; we try to make the payments pretty even by spreading costume
payments over 3 months, only billing 1 competition at a time etc.
1. Fusion Force Recreational Pom Class tuition:
- Your regular tuition (per class rate) or unlimited class fee will be automatically deducted on the
1st of each month September - June
2. Fusion Force Recreational Uniform
- All participants must purchase the uniform (see attached sheet) to participate. The cost is
$50.00 and includes top, skirt and poms. This is due by October 15th so that orders can be
placed. You will also need white (clean) tennis shoes.
- Additional Fusion logo wear such as warm ups, bags, etc are optional and available for order.
3. Make-up
- All dancers must purchase specific make-up to wear on stage – we all must look crisp and
clean and the SAME to give a polished finish look to all your hard work. We try to buy new
every other year. Many of our dancers have matching make-up we will use this make-up again
and re-order for new company dancers.
4. Jewelry
All dancers must have rhinestone earrings (if you do not have pierced ears we will get you clip
ons). The cost of a pair is $10.00, if taken care of properly it should last you through several
seasons. We will be ordering NEW earrings this ear – AB crystal earrings – all dancers will
need to order them.
If you are new to competitive dance this is a lot to take in at first glance. Ask questions, we can help guide
you through everything, also talk with our veteran moms, they are GREAT and can help you sort anything out!
