What is an Interjection?




An interjection is a word that expresses
emotion.
An interjection is often followed by an
exclamation point.
Sometimes, an interjection is separated from
the rest of the sentence with a comma.
Interjections are the kinds of words you shout
out when you are filled with happiness,
horror, shock, anger, pain, or confusion.
