Nairobi 1-3 -3SBSTA Ninth meeting of the Research Dialogue (preceded by poster session 13.15-14.45) 15.00– 18.00 At the ninth meeting of the Research Dialogue, Parties and experts from the WCRP, IPCC and a large range of regional and international research programmes and organizations will be conveying new scientific findings and research information and detailing activities on scientific knowledge and capacity building on: 1) Regional climate research data and information, and gaps; and 2) Science to take stock and assess progress on mitigation. The poster session will be held in advance of the dialogue (13.15-14.45) in front of meeting room Genf where experts will be available to answer questions on their posters. At 15.00 the dialogue will continue inside Room Genf with presentations and discussion (15.00-18.00). The event will be chaired by the SBSTA Chair. The side events are organized under the common theme “Accelerating implementation of the Paris Agreement” and are clustered in three categories: Enhancing ambition, Promoting implementation and Providing support to developing countries.
