service of an unknown Australian Officer in the
Middle East, including Jerusalem, and in Ceylon
(Sri Lanka) including Colombo, and portraits of
the officer, the owner/photographer, in full
uniform, and seated on a horse. Most are
captioned. The officer is possibly Lieutenant
Colonel Mahuta Alfred Walloscheck, SX9456,
2/3 Machine Gun Battalion. See also Series 47,

photographs of his wife Jean Dawn (nee
Humby) and family, and a group photograph of
the Storeman Technical course 12 February
1970, with all names provided on reverse. 17.8 x

1940-1945. Also includes a purple box
containing a letter written to N.S. Errington and
wife by his son in 1978, and a leather sleeve
