Form a 51/2 x 51/2-inch top-folded card from red
cardstock. Cut a 51/4-inch square of Tart and Tiny
paper and adhere to card front.
Cut a 47/8 x 35/8-inch rectangle from Sarsaparilla
paper and adhere to black cardstock; trim a small
border. Adhere to card front as shown.
Stamp a row of paper clips with black ink on a
3/4 x 35/8-inch strip of Fuzzy Navel paper; adhere to a
1 x 35/8-inch strip of black cardstock. Adhere paper-clip
strip to Sarsaparilla rectangle on card front as shown.
Use Classic Scalloped Circles LG die templates
to die-cut one 13/4-inch scalloped circle from red
cardstock and one 11/2-inch scalloped circle from black
cardstock. Layer and adhere scalloped circles together.
Use 13/8-inch Standard Circles LG die template to
die-cut and emboss a circle from white cardstock.
While template is still in place, use sponge dauber to
lightly sponge center of circle with tan ink; let dry.
Remove template and stamp round “Teachers make
a difference” emblem image over tan center with
black ink. Adhere stamped white circle over black
scalloped circle.
Use tag die template to die-cut and emboss a
medium tag from white cardstock. With template
still in place, sponge tan ink in center of tag; let dry.
Remove template. With black ink, stamp Henry
Adams quote over tan center of tag. Adhere to card
front as shown.
Stamp books-with-apple image with black ink
on white cardstock, and once each on Cherry Cola,

Orange Cream and Fuzzy Navel papers.
Cut apple and bottom book from image stamped
on Cherry Cola paper; cut middle book from image
stamped on Orange Cream paper and cut top book
from image stamped on Fuzzy Navel paper. Glue
cut-out pieces to image stamped on white cardstock.
Shade edges of books with white colored pencil.
Use 31/4-inch Standard Circles LG die template to
die-cut a circle around paper-pieced stamped book
image, positioning books in upper portion of circle
and centered side to side. Note: This will ensure that
image is visible when shaker items are added. Adhere
white circle to front of card as shown.
Use die templates to die-cut a 31/2-inch scalloped
circle from red cardstock, and then die-cut a 23/4-inch
circle from center to make a ring.
Die-cut another 31/4-inch circle from acetate.
Adhere acetate circle to reverse side of red scallopededge ring. Cut adhesive foam dots in half and adhere
end to end around outer edge of acetate piece with
rounded edges facing outward (Photo 1).

Place paper clips centered on top of white stamped
book-image piece on card front. Adhere red scalloped
edge ring over white circle on card front as shown
(Photo 2).

Slip an additional paper clip over bottom edge of
card front. ●
