Paul Revere Biography Box Project
My project is due on
Thursday, November 21, 2013
(This will take the place of our weekly homework packet.)
Our class is learning about Paul Revere. We have been reading a
biography about his life and accomplishments and taking notes as we
read. Your task is to create a Biography Box. What is a Biography Box?
Follow the steps below to create your project.
1. Research Paul Revere. Use the internet, my social studies website,
your notes, or any other information you can find.
2. Find an old cereal box or box of similar size.
3. Cover your box. You can use wrapping paper, construction paper,
fabric, or anything else you choose.
Biography Box Requirements
Front of box:
___ a creative title
___ a picture of Paul Revere (illustration or copied)
___ his birth and death date
Back of box:
___ a typed or handwritten summary of his life (at least 1 GOOD
paragraph)
___ proper capitalization, punctuation, verb usage, etc
One side of the box:
___ date of birth
___ place of birth
___ three pictures or symbols that remind you of Paul Revere
The other side of the box:
___ List 5 interesting facts about Paul Revere
In order to incorporate key vocabulary from our unit the following
vocabulary words MUST be used correctly somewhere on your box.
