For the output force within the clamping stroke, see the formula hereinafter. Features Notes ・ Perfect for preventing accidents caused by decreasing of air pressure. ・ Perfect for clamping thin workpieces or clamping with light force. The clamp arm swivels 360゜ freely. To lock the clamp arm, use AMHK-BK Guide Brackets(to be ordered separately). How To Use ■How To Operate Air Release Clamp Release air for clamping by inner spring. Air Supply Unclamp Supply air for unclamping. ■How To Adjust the Clamp Tip Length Clamp Arm Open-end Wrench Hex Socket Countersunk Head Screw Lift Hex Wrench Clamp Tip 2 Flats of Rod Air Supply Bolt Lift the clamp arm and fit a wrench onto the 2 flats of the piston. (Supplying air or screwing in a bolt facilitates lifting the clamp arm.) Lock the piston with a wrench, and then loosen the hex socket countersunk head screw with a hex wrench. Adjust the projection range of the clamp tip with the holder loosened. (For tightening of the hex socket countersunk head screw, follow back the loosening steps.) ■Mounting-Hole Dimensions h d M1 Part Number M1 d AMHK14-3S M22×1.5 27 AMHK14-5S AMHK20-3S M28×1.5 33 AMHK20-5S h +0.5 ( 0 ) 5 8 Performance Curve The clamping forces vary with the desired stroke.
