This Thursday is a big Varsity high school sports day as our girls’ soccer team plays defending state champion
Blue Ridge at 4:00 and our volleyball teams plays Coconino at 6:00. Both soccer and volleyball will be played at
Sinagua Middle School (which is a change in schedule for the volleyball team). It would be great to have as many
students (as well as faculty and staff) in attendance for all games that day. Thank you.
Seniors, I just want to call your attention to some new features on the website specifically built-in with you in
mind. There is now a counseling blog available on the school’s homepage. This will be updated regularly, letting
you know about college and other relevant events. Additionally, a drop down menu has been created off of the
“Guidance Zone” for “Scholarships.” This will be updated as information comes in. Links and deadlines are
included for your perusing pleasure. See MS. Wilkinson if you have any questions!


Picture Day will be this Thursday, September 24t.h. There will be no casual dress on Wednesday; instead casual
dress will be Thursday.
Mock Trial will have a mandatory meeting for any student who is not familiar with courtroom basics Tuesday,
September 22nd at 3:30 in Mr. Baron’s room. If you’ve already taken the class or competed in the club, you do
not need to attend, but it could be a helpful refresher and lawyer-coaches may be there if you’d like to meet
them.
