Alexander the Great Tourbillion

Alexander the Great Tourbillion by Basilika Press release June 2013, Singapore –The Great Tourbillion series is inspired by the Great Luminaries of the past. Continuing the Great Tourbillion series, Red Army Watches and Basilika are paying tribute to Alexander the Great (356 BC – 323 BC) who created the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from the Ionian Sea to the Himalayas. Alexander the Great was never defeated in any battle and is therefore considered as one of history’s most successful commanders. Alexander III of Macedon was viewed as perceptive, logical, and calculating. He had a great desire for knowledge, a love for philosophy, and was an avid reader. His intelligent and rational side was amply demonstrated by his ability and success as a general. The inspiration of Alexander the Great still lives within the timepiece, enabling owners of this watch a sense of pride in basking in his greatness. Alexander the Great Tourbillion is fitted with a 43mm stainless steel case and powered by a hand wound movement that has 45 hours of power reserve. The painted glass dial used allows watch appreciators to view the movement from the front. It also comes with a transparent case back, is covered with sapphire crystal and has a water resistance of up to 5 ATM. The watch has a day and night indicator, and a tourbillion positioned distinctively on its glass dial. There are only 100 pieces of this Limited Edition watch available and each piece comes with its own serial number. Alexander the Great is only available at Red Army Watches (Millenia Walk, Wisma Atria, red dot Traffic) and Krasnaya (Ion Orchard). List price SGD$6,288 (inclusive of tax). And probably the most radical, plain madness. Red Army Watches has been labelled in many ways, and the anti-‐establishment movement is what molded us from the beginning. We took in a common product, a watch, and presented it in a different light, changing the traditional perception in terms of what a watch is and what options are there available for the discerning customers. We are first and foremost a retailer with an exciting portfolio of non-‐mainstream brands qualified to fit into our Acquirable Timepieces brand assessment strategy. As of 2013, collectively we operate four outlets in Singapore, three in Malaysia, and three in Indonesia. We own and run three retail concepts namely Red Army Watches, Krasnaya-‐The Watch Art Gallery, and Instrumentum. 28 Maxwell Rd #04-‐04, red dot Traffic, Singapore 069120 Tel. 6532 7780 I email: [email protected] I www.facebook.com/redarmywatches.com Contact person: Jieting Wang (65) 6532 7780 / (65) 9171 0440 [email protected] Sugiharto Kusumadi (65) 6532 7780 / (65) 9847 5522 [email protected] -‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐-‐ Authorised dealers: Red Army Watches Millenia Walk #01-‐78 Wisma Atria #03-‐02 red dot Traffic #04-‐04 Krasnaya -‐ The Watch Art Gallery ION Orchard #B3-‐03 Service centre: red dot Traffic #04-‐04 e-‐store: www.redarmywatches.com 28 Maxwell Rd #04-‐04, red dot Traffic, Singapore 069120 Tel. 6532 7780 I email: [email protected] I www.facebook.com/redarmywatches.com
