Step 1 Use an atlas to find the modern names for the Roman names in
Figure 4.9.
Step 2 To create your own map of the Roman Empire, go to CD 4.9 and
print out or download the outline map. If you prefer, you can
complete the map on the computer using MS Paint.
Step 3 Colour the areas as shown.
Step 4 Add the Roman names with the modern names beside them.
