An eight-piece band from the Salvation Army headquarters in Syracuse
performed at an open-air concert on Park St. last Wednesday night to officially kick-off Tupper Lake's Salvation Array New-for-Old Trade-In event.
The performance was sponsored by the Tupper Lake Chamber of Commerce
in cooperation with the Tupper Lake Retail Merchants Committee. Two
members of the local Salvation Army unit, Muriel Ginsberg and Chuck
Dunning (far left and far right) who were honored that evening for their
ongoing contribution to the charitable organization, pose with the musical
group. Other local Salvation Army workers recognized that evening were Roy
Colburn, the long standing chairman of the Tupper Lake branch, Alberta
Moody, Sam Parmelee, Kathleen Bigrow, Michael Kundrat, and Clarence
Bell.
