Matt Tiano (Soccer)
Matt Tiano began refereeing soccer at the age of 12 in Northfield, Minnesota with the main goal to make some spending money during the summers. While he played the game through high school, he really found his passion refereeing the game and began to network and work more challenging assignments over time. That included traveling across the country refereeing various events, and working high‐level amateur, some professional, and Division I, II and III collegiate matches. He also began to assign youth soccer matches several years ago, and have grown a business scheduling over 5,000 soccer matches annually in Minnesota, larger than any other soccer assigning entity in the state. Also as part of that process, he serves as a State Referee Assessor & Instructor. In addition to youth soccer, as of two years ago, he also was appointed Supervisor of Soccer Officials for the Iowa Conference, a member of NCAA Division III. Ed Zepeda (Hockey)

For the past 10 years, Ed has been the Supervisor of Officials for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. In this role, Ed manages a staff of more than 125 officials, including the recruitment of new officials, staff training, scheduling and evaluations of on‐ice performance.
