An Act to provide for the appropriation of a
certain sum out of the General Loan
Account and for the application of that
sum for certain Public Works and Services;
and for purposes connected therewith.

HEREAS the Australian Loan Council at its
W
sixty-sixth meeting held on the sixteenth and
seventeenth days of August, one thousand nine hundred
and fifty-one, decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of Part I
of the Agreement set out in the schedule to the Financial
Agreement Act, 1944, that the amount to be borrowed
for the loan programmes of the Commonwealth and
the States for the financial year ending on the thirtieth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-two,
shall
shall be two hundred and twenty-five million two hundred
and eighty-seven thousand pounds, and by unanimous
decision allocated an amount of sixty-four million pounds
to the State of New South Wales, BE it enacted therefore
by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council and
Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parlia­
ment assembled, and by the authority of the same as
follows :—
1. This Act may be cited as the " General Loan
Account Appropriation Act, 1951."
2 . The sum of seventy-four million five hundred and
eighteen thousand pounds is hereby appropriated from
the General Loan Account for the public works and
services hereunder set out, and shall, as required be
applied as follows :—
