We have been doing quite a bit of work over the last few weeks on using synonyms to improve your
use of challenge vocabulary. Remember, a synonym is a word that has the same meaning.
Look at the words underlined in the following sentences then on the red line, write a synonym you
can replace the word with to enhance your sentence.
My Mum made a cake – it was nice!
