Unique Design
Suitable for non-lubricated air service, Parker PRN Series rotary actuators incorporate a single or double vane which is molded directly onto a one-piece shaft. The
unique rounded vane design assures minimal leakage and allows stable low speed
oscillation at low operating pressure while providing long service life.
Wide Range of Operating Angles and Start Points
Standard models, which include an optional switch, are available with starting reference points of 40°, 45° and 90° and rotation angles of 90°, 100°, 180°, 270° and
280°. Other models are available for manual adjustment of the oscillation angles.
The PRN Series also yields a high output torque/weight ratio. For example, the
smallest model, PRN1, weighs only 0.08 pounds and provides 1.40 in-lb torque at
100 PSI. The largest model, PRN800D, weighs 27 pounds and provides up to 3,562
in-lb torque at 145 PSI.
An Ideal Solution
Because Parker rotary actuators are compact and lightweight, they are the perfect
choice for a large variety of applications. Accessories and options include the integral
end of stroke hydraulic shock (hydro-cushion), foot and flange mountings, and reed
and Hall Effect switches.
